slimsfab tanks

Here are a couple of tanks that I modified. They both received new floors and tunnels. The caps were also moved to the crown of the tank (for volume),the petcock bungs were moved to the rear left corner and one tank got ribbed and narrowed.I roll the tunnels in 2 sizes,3 inch for rubbermount sportys and newer bikes and 1and3/4inch for older styled frames and classics.I also fab dyna square tunnels, which seem to be more popular by the day....lotta dyna mods going down as of lately. slimsfab wheelie van#2 update

This is the Wheelie Van #2.Been fabbin hard here at the farm! It is well on its way sporting a 2x3 box tube frame tied in to the unibody construction of the econoline supervan. The frame is rigidly mounted in various places and will also be tied in with a .134 wall D.O.M. rollcage. The cleveland ford engine and c6 transmission mounts solid to the frame as well as the twelve degree Casale V drive. The front E.T.10 spoke rims in place gives you a great Idea of the seroius gasser/AFX stance, the rears will be steel deep 15 inch shod with Mickey Thompson rubber measuring 15x29x12.50. The cage and drivelines will be the next post....Whatever you are building take great pride in doing so...WE as AMERICANS are "THE TRENDSETTERS" for the world not anyone else. They copy our shit...DONT COPY THEIRS! slimsfab frame for Pablo

This is a sporty owned by Pablo. He wanted a crazy build so he hooked up with Ruben. In case you dont know Ruben he is the dude with the "penny Knuckle" and the "stretched Indian".He is an extremely talented and edgy builder,Whom I like to work with on his projects. He Hit me up asking for a frame to be built for a Ironhead engine with a bigtwin trans....Ruben,and Jordan"the machinist"did the trimming and the engine mounting lugs super sano then brought the parts out to the farm.Pablo and Ruben rolled out a stock frame that was not used....to cut to the chase, I built this frame and oil bag for the project.Ruben told me to hook it up and thats what I did.It has alot of Style to compliment Rubens style as he needed a canvas to lay down his Art.There is no hard lines in this one all free flowing and meant to look smooth. This project WILL be a masterpiece....thanks for including me in on the madness Ruben,Pablo, and jordan! slimsfab wheelie van #2

This is a ford Econoline super van, owned by Dave C. of the orange county ,ca area.He uses it for his band "Supernova". He brought his van to the farm needing it to leave here on its rear wheels and i dont mean on a tow truck. The van HAD a front mounted small block chevy in it(I pulled it out) and a poorly executed angle chop done to the roof.I have already installed a full tube chassis, casale V drive,351 cleveland engine scavenged from the donor in the pics. This van will carry an afx feel because of its factory wheel positioning,Nice job Ford! factory AFX. The next post of this van will include frame shots and engine positioning etc... I just wanted to introduce this project, all stages will be blogged here.SLIM 951 217 8814

slimsfab frame mod for Lawerence

This is an xs frame Lawrence brought to the farm.He hacked the back off himself and will be installing his own hardtail. He asked me to do a single downtube to the front lower motor mount and i shaved the steering head gussets completely off to achieve a "sano" look.Notice in the pics I was especially careful to leave the federal sticker on the steering head to make registration of this out of state bike a breeze! SLIM 951 217 8814....Thanks for checking my BLOG!
