These are some bars made here at the fab farm for a guy by the name of Hugo,he operates a shop in pacoima,ca. Every now and again he call me for a few sets of bars to suit his builds. These shots show 2 angles so you can see how much pullback they have as well as a clean front view. The bars i make here are NOT mass produced,They get built one set at a time and carefully measured to your spec "one off". Thank you for checking my blog.If you are new to this scroll to the bottom of the page and click on older posts I have archives that go back for years! This is Eric from chino, cal. and his xs650 He brought his bike in for A hardtail, fender, sissy, seatpan, bars, electrics stash tank, batt tray, pipes, and gas tank. this bike came to the fab farm with the engine partially disassembled, and mostly a complete stocker stripped down but not cut in any way. This is how he left.He did ask for specifics like low mounted tank, keystone bars, pipes like big Ks,and 2 inches of stretch...we will see him on the road soon! Thanks for the work Eric! All of our materials here at the fab farm are purchased from small family owned outfits to keep up growth in local business,HELP GROW OUR COUNTRY!!! SLIM 951 217 8814
This is Luckys tank I fabbed for his sporty,He is in the process of putting color on his sportster, and i did not want his tank to look alike to most other frisco style tanks so...I added some light sculpting,I just rolled some 16 guage cold finished sheet into tubular shape and evenly trimmed his tank to accept my tubular panels, then welded them in,cleaned it up a bit, pressure tested it and sealed it. Done deal.simple, easy on the eyes, should look good painted!?%* I guess we will leave that to Tucker at "Soul Chicken"paint. In the pics you will catch Lucky and his kids, SLIM 951 217 8814
This is my first actual build back in the day!I got the frame from Negotiable Tim when I was young,It has had many different engine combos...yamaha,suzuki,honda,all sorts....the frame was meant for a shovel HD but I could never scrounge up the dough. So before it was common to run Jap motors(other than cb750), i thought I would do something different and run my yz 400 in it. It was beat and beat by me daily.I started to build bikes on the side to save up for the Shovel motor I never got,I rode this bike a long time in raw form before One of my strong influences (other than Shinya) at the time had just passed away...Johnny Vasco(johnny Chop) , they were having a memorial at the queen mary so i tore it down and re coated the bike in his honor Black and gold symbolizing His "Stay Gold" motto/way of life.I toured this bike to the horse "smoke outs and such events. After grenading the motor in the burnout box, I parked it in my home to rest.I have had this bike in my posession for 10 years and some.I have recently sold it to its current owner Casey Moir, the same guy that rolls the streetsweeper( my old Chevy V drive van). So The reason for this story is I have had numerous phone calls asking me Did you build this bike? Well fuck yes i did,a long time ago... And yes that is a chain driven chevy alternator....... Hey Eric here is your tank....long tabs to reach your frame holes and your 13 1/2" length you were lookin for,Its sealed with Kreme and ready to roll! It will see you soon,Slim 951 217 8814 This tank was fabbed by an American, In America....WHAT A FUCKING CONCEPT! lets keep rolling with this trend.
This is Joe & Gils Caddy, these guys have some really badd ass rides and they bring them in periodically to have little bits taken care of...this trip got them a rocker panel fixed and the two front lower fenders de rusted, I just cut out the old rusty ,prepped the surface behind it and welded in fresh sheet metal... sounds easy but to do this right it is time consuming, tedius work. These guys also have an old pan and a 59 el camino in the weeds. Low and Slow is how they roll.I prefer to fly low...SLIM 951 217 8814
Here is Brentons ford ranger,He got a ticket, not just fix it ticket but other shit too...But heres how we fixxed the bumper portion of his ticket.Tube bumpers fabbed here at the farm,.120 wall mild steel attatched to the plated frame, bent to shape, brought in close instead of your typical 5 to 10 inches out sloppy shit! capped ends, proper plate and light mounting tabs. Here at the farm it has never been just bikes... if youve been here you already know. If it has to do with modification, it can probably be done...FABRICATION...SLIM 951 217 8814 Thanks for the biz Brenton!
This is the new oil tank fir kris s bike "Rick James Bitch".The bike frame has been shortened 6 inches from the length of the first hardtail, sooo new oil tank!it has a tunnel that hugs the seatpost tube, the other side i beadrolled to mock a keg style with a deep inset dome.I will be posting this bike soon,LONG,and SHORT. SLIM 951 217 8814
Here are some ex wide glide legs in some of my narrow trees....They come complete ready to bolt on with hardened fasteners and a hardened stem for 1 inch bearings. the stem is long enough for big twin frames. These trees accept your 41mm legs typically found on HD wide glide front ends and makes them super narrow.Because of the sheer girth of the 41mm legs when pulled together this far they appear really, really narrow especially when they are stock length! SLIM 951 217 8814
This is Riverside Alex s "other"sporty....he came in needing a 2 to 1 pipe,so i fabbed one up and coated it black,i also fabbed him a bolt on sissy bar to match the style of his bike. The carb was jetted to match his combo. Some new bars will be coming soon!SLIM 951 217 8814
This is Brandons Shovel. This particular bike came to the farm as a bare hardtailed frame.(i did not hardtail it)It needed alot...39 mm front end shaved and installed ,Rear wheel installed and fender radiused and fit to the bike, sissy bar fabbed, tail light mount for 50 chev p/u light, early style oil bag modified to clear his cow pie 4 speed tranny, axe tank friscoed and sealed, rabbit ear bars, engine and trans installed so primary drive could be fitted for mock up purposes, seat pan was also fabbed, upswept pipes too, the list goes on and on.Just when i thought that was it he had us do a sano wiring job for him.Watch for his bike rollin soon he doesnt have much left to do. SLIM 951 217 8814
This is joshs chevelle,he had a rusty ass section on his roof letting water in and just plain getting worse over time...his two front fenders in the lower section were not solid either. So he trailered his chev over for sheetmetal repair..we took care of it,and he is probably putting his fresh drivtrain back in now...He is a streetracer and track drag racer, his "bandaid"engine yielded 11.60 et in the quarter, pretty fuckin impressive for a mild small block naturally aspirated! Here at the farm we are def not strangers to drag racers and their machines.Drag cars is what I did before bikes.SLIM 951 217 8814
This is Nori and his R60 BMW swingarm,he is building a cafe styled bike and wanted to balance the look a bit..thinking it looked short he brought it over for a stretch of two inches. it is a driveshaft driven bike.Dont know where you are but it is hot as shit here and it rained today....bad day to have a shop with no a/c and no insulation,i think I am losing weight, hahahaha,Slim 951 217 8814
This is a king sporty i put a new floor in and tunneled it for a dyna backbone, it went on a "club style" dyna after powdercoating. Today I really got deep into thought while wrenching on an old shovel and almost found myself pissed off thinking how few harleys will be left for our kids and kids, kids to chop.(especially stockers)most are leaving our country never to hit US soil again, others are being chopped by fucks who dont appreciate what they really are riding, the rest belong to us...lets keep a stranglehold on our precious dinosaurs it is a part of our culture that we are quickly losing! SLIM,951 217 8814
This is Luckys sporty,I thought it would be cool to run his old dog bone risers to hold passenger pegs in place in a stylish sort,He wanted to run a more aggressive set of bars so.... I fabbed him some swept forward riserless bars with a crossbar welded in .His bike is soon gonna have a fresh coat of shiny thanks to Tucker at "Soul Chicken" paint. Thanks for checkin my blog,SLIM 951 217 8814
